Archaeology still has one skill bar that is used through all expansions and caps at 950. This mechanic applies to all primary professions, Fishing, and Cooking. This is because the profession window will always show the bar most appropriate to the character's level in this case, characters level 100-110 will see the progression bar corresponding with Legion. If you did not have 700 or more skill points as of Legion, your profession points for Legion may show as if they dropped to 1.
